About Liz

A qualified strategic Chartered Marketer, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Liz has been working in the education sector for 15+ years. Liz is a rare blend of a marketing practitioner and specialist marketing trainer / lecturer having qualified as a teacher in 1995.

Liz's expertise comes from both private and public sector organisations where she has specialised in marketing communications, customer research and insight, marketing planning and business strategy.

Liz's recent projects

Liz is currently working with Quest Business College and recently completed a large project which:

  • Designed and delivered a comprehensive market research, positioning and concept development plan.
  • Developed, delivered, analysed and presented student and parent surveys
  • Undertook student, parent, employer interviews and focus groups
  • Provided conclusions and recommendations for future development of the college
  • Gave insight and recommendations for geographic and demographic target markets, course development and structure, re-interpretation of core messages / description, styling and visual presentation.

In 2010 Business Education Group hired Preview to undertake a suite of staff engagement activities. This included:

  • Formation of a working party to re-design their staff working space
  • New structured staff engagement survey
  • Teacher focus groups
  • Design, delivery and hosting of two x2 day conferences.

Some of Liz's other education projects include:

  • Design, delivery, analysis and presentation of an extensive Parent Survey for an independent school in London.
  • Consultancy advice regarding partnership contacts between a private college and university for co-delivery of a Masters programme.
  • Young person / parent research for 11-14 year olds participating in a school / community outreach programme.
  • Evaluation methodology and analysis of results for a local authority education / community partnership programme.
  • Writing top award winning entries for the National Training Award entries for a public sector college.
  • Designing an evaluation methodology and surveying process for the Fire Service College.

Liz was on the senior management team for Oxford College of Marketing for five years where she helped transform the organisation by:

  • Developing sales systems and customer relationship management tools.
  • Building and integrating lead generation processes with online and offline marketing and advertising (including Google pay per click and email marketing).
  • Extending and analysing the database to improve targeting and response rates.
  • Managing customer relationship staff to improve conversion rates.
  • Developing reporting systems and automating processes to boost student recruitment.
  • Designing website specifications and commissioning e-commerce solutions.
  • Pioneering new revenue streams through public and in-house training courses.
  • Establishing new teaching centres with excellent financial returns.
